rich text editor vanished lots of JS errors

Could you give us the JS errors in detail.

Did it disappear, or was it never there ?

Either way, check that all files are present.
You can do this by opening an ftp client and comparing directories side by side.

I asked because I have a similar situation here. My Wysiwyg never appeared. I get JS errors when trying to write a Post:

Podz: the Wysiwyg worked just fine. Maybe one of the plugins i’ve installed caused a conflict? Anyway, disabling the plugins didn’t help.
You mean, checking the current directories with the original WP installation folder?
