Ridiculouosly long paths

    I just got this error while trying to upgrade…

    An error occurred while updating NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati: Could not copy file. C:/Program Files (x86)/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/htdocs/1.1.1.6/DocumentRoot/wp-content/upgrade/nextgen-gallery.tmp/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_gallery/templates/slideshow/nextgen_basic_slideshow_settings_gallery_dimensions.php

    Is there anything being done regarding the path/file length?

    I agree that the paths are long, but you can easily quick fix this by your own, as you can see.

    C:/Program Files (x86)/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/htdocs/1.1.1.6/DocumentRoot/
    are 89 characters.

    Create a new root for Apache and you will not have the issue.

    But Photocrati should keep an eye on it, even if no serious websites with Apache, Nginx & Co are running on Windows, but it is still a possible issue for testing purposes.
