• There is:

    @media (prefers-color-scheme: dark) {

    }

    But this theme does NOT use it. Meaning you have to force enable a dark color theme for all visitors (or not). That is pretty stupid. You should be able to select your light and dark theme and have them switch by user preference and maybe even a manual switcher on the frontend. Instead you can only select a single color theme for everyone.

    Probably something that is at odds with how Gutenberg and these styles work.

    Other than that, this theme does not look very impressive to me. More of a showoff for GB with some mediocre styling.

    Hi there @nico23 – you’re totally right, this is not something that’s currently possible with the block editor or in block themes. There has been some discussion on GitHub regarding support for prefers-color-scheme media-query.

    I take your point! The theme was in fact designed to be quite minimalist and “unopinionated,” while acting as a showcase for a collection of Style Variations contributed by the community.
