I use the WYSIWIG text editor on Firefox. If I right click on the text editor to paste something, there is no paste option that comes up. The paste option does come up if I use the old text editor, and it comes up if I use Internet Explorer. Is there anything that can be done about this?

    You’re right of course.

What you can do is to use keyboard shortcuts.
It’s also much faster when you are writing.
    Copy : Ctrl + c
    Cut : Ctrl + x
    Paste: Ctrl + v

Quick and easy. If you’re on Mac, I believe Ctrl would be Command ( ? ).

Hmph. Don’t knock it…. sometimes the oldies but goodies are the only things that work.

    Hi my spy ??
I’m using the mouse most of the time, because I’m to lazy to learn keyboard accords. But the copy/paste shortcuts *are* faster!

You’d be amazed how many of those keyboarders from win3.0 etc that I still use (oh yeah, 3.0 was my first windows – buggier than an anthill!)

After 20+ years, you just get used to certain movements.

I was trying to find this out for my girlfriend, who doesn’t know any of the keyboard shortcuts. I never realized that you couldn’t right click and hit paste because I never did it, and always used the keyboard shortcuts.
