Right-hand sidebar

  • How can I add a right-hand sidebar in J A Mortram theme?

    I’d like to add a right-hand sidebar to my blog. I want to add in a subscribe widget on the top at the right as well as at the end of a blog post.

    I’d also like to add in social media icons for links to my social media on the right on the homepage and on each post so that the subscribe for updates field doesn’t get lost at the bottom of each post.

    Apologies for the delay getting back to you. I have only just seen this.

    There is no provision in this template for a right-hand sidebar. This is not something I intend to add either.

    There are three widget areas in the theme. All centered. One below the header image or logo (the tagline area), one below the header menu (the header area) and one above the footer copyright statement (the footer area).

    I suggest putting your subscribe widget in the tagline or header widget area. It will be centered not top right, but this is perhaps the best option.

    I suggest adding social media icons (follow buttons) to either to the header menu or the donate or footer menus. Alternatively, if you want share buttons, you could install The J A Mortram Share This Story (https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/the-j-a-mortram-share-this-story) plugin.
