Right Side Bar Shows Links Without Widget, Double With

    Using WordPress 2.6.? and the German Newspaper Template. I have two sidebars. It is widget ready.

    I can add links and they appear on the right even without adding the links widget. However, they do not appear on my pages. If I add the links widget to my right sidebar, I then have two instances of my links on the main page and one on each of my pages.

    Any advice?

    When I actually added a post the links disappeared until I added the links widget. It works the way I want now. Must be some theme specific quirk.
