Right sidebar

The theme actually has separate sidebar columns, which are:

1. Blog Right Sidebar
2. Page Right Sidebar

I designed it so that blog based widgets can be associated with the blog sidebar only while keeping page based widgets for the page sidebar.

But the page right sidebar is not showing up. The sidebar is showing up on the blog page, but not the other pages. How do I get it to show up on the other pages?

The widget will only show up on blog based pages if you publish them to the Blog right sidebar, like: the blog, the full post article, archive, author, etc.

For actual pages, widgets have to be published to the Page Right Sidebar to show up. However, do you have a link to your site where I can see this and then I can get a better idea on what might be happening?

I put the widget into the Page Right Sidebar. The client wants the site to be hidden until it’s finished, so I have the plugin “coming soon mode” activated, so you won’t be able to see the site unless I make you a user. I could remove you as a user after we resolve the issue… Would you be ok with that? Thank you for your help–I really appreciate it!

After our email discussion, here is the solution for getting widgets to show on the “pages” right sidebar:

“When you have the page open in your admin page editor, in the right side column there is a template drop down select list for Page Templates. This is where you will find the theme’s available templates that you can apply to each page that you edit or create.”
