    Hi all,

I need my search widget to be more prominent than what it is at the moment. Visit my site by clicking here. You can see that the search widget is displayed beneath the slider. Is there anyway I can have it placed next to the slider please? Thanks JP

    Hello,
it will depend on the theme you use for your site. There are some themes that allow the display of the sidebar on the homepage.
But in this case the width of your slider will be reduiced.

I’d put the search form in the header part. It will be more visible and will not reduice the width of your home page.

    Cheers !

Hi, I am using the Customizr theme and I have got a widget area in the header secetion but if I place the search there it really starts to look ugly… Like very very ugly.

Hi Electric Feet… Thanks for the advice but my client does not want a minimal search form. They are a reat estate agency and want the whole search box. Is there a way I can bring the footer up by reducing the size of height of the slider. Obviously not just the image but the back end of the slider as well please?
