    Hi Earl_D,

Thank you for the kind words. I’m happy to help.

In terms of a roadmap, I’m looking to see if I can add wiki specific roles for those who want them. I need to do it in a way that won’t interfere with something else that users might have setup themselves. I have some leads on that but have not dug into it too deeply.

My time is somewhat limited, but I’m open to suggestions. What were you thinking?

    Regards,

    David

Thanks for the response. The wiki specific user roles was one of the suggestions. The other was wiki specific permalinks structure. That would increase functionality for folks like me who are implementing the wiki as part of an existing site.

The final would be a big one and that is front end editing of wiki pages.
I tried using the front end. editor Frontier set to just edit yada wiki content type as I had with another content type on a site but it didn’t work out.

Anyway thanks for the response and any thoughts you have and future development of the fine plugin you have.

    Hi Earl_D,

Thank you for the ideas. Is there a plugin that implements a specific permalink structure in the manner you are referring to? I’m not sure I understand so an example would help.

Front end editing would be great, but I’m not sure it is realistic. I just tried the Frontier post plugin and see what you mean. It looks like in the documentation for the plugin on their website they have some code you could try, but it could be tricky. Did you ask in the support area about editing custom post types?

    Best,

    Hi Earl_D,

When you are talking about the permalink structure, are you meaning being able to choose a word other than “wiki” for the slug? If so, that makes sense and I can see how it might be useful.

For the permalinks/slugs I was thinking of something like the options added using this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/custom-post-type-permalinks/

Here is a image from the setting page of wiki pro that shows what I am thinking. The slug and path to the wiki can be set

    Hi Earl_D,

The last update added the ability to change the slug from ‘wiki’ to another word.

    Best regards,

    David
