Hi, the add-ons we have planned are:
    – Stripe Integration
    – Custom Category Icons
    – Reviews and Ratings
    – Ad Packages / Subscriptions

Most likely the Stripe will the first one we will develop, but feel free to vote for the add-ons in this thread :).

    Hey Greg,

The Stripe Integration is that for purchasing ads? Or to handle the sale through the website? Any plans to let the sale commence through the site?

About Reviews, is that a review based on the seller (like a seller testimonial?)

I’m desperate for the custom category icon feature (I’m sure you’re aware of that over a year of requesting it haha)

Finally, any updates to the BP side of things would be awesome! Keep up the great work.

Oh, you’re definitely missing a ‘SOLD’ marker, that would really stop my audience asking for items that are already sold

    Hi,
    1. the Stripe integration will allow paying for Ads, the marketplace add-on is something we want to build as well, but you should not expect it any time soon i am afraid as this is much more complex add-on than any other add-on we built so far.

    2. reviews will basically be like comments with ratings, still we did not decided on the format (that is how would they look like so this is on hold as well).

    3. the next WPAdverts update will have an API which will allow replacing the default icons and shortly after that the custom icons add-on should be created.

    4. the BP integration will have an update which will allow sending a message directly from the Advert details page.

    5. the Mark as Sold add-on should be easy to develop, you can expect it this month.

    Hello Greg,

Regarding “mark as sold” will you make it in a way that add looks like it is expired so that it is not shown on site anymore but that it still remain in [adverts_manage] for user to renew it later if needed?
And add will be “marked as sold” by using extra button in [adverts_manage]?

Or you had something else in mind ?? Either way this will be nice improvement.

Also I need to say that you have one great advert plugin and you really provide great support!! And with things you noted here this plugin has great future aswell!

Hi, the Ads status (sold / not-sold) will be managed from [adverts_manage] panel.

How will this work i am not sure yet, there will probably be two modes, the Ad marked-as-sold will either be hidden from the [adverts_list] or it will display there but with some “SOLD” badge.

In either case the Ad will still be visible in [adverts_manage] shortcode.
