• We have used Link Library for a few years and it has worked fine.
Recently I started to get links with broken thumbnails.

My default settings are to use Robothumb and link to the thumbnails, but override with local if present.

When adding a new link I now get a reference https:// in the path to a local image, sometimes it also creates a faulty “image” zero byte file in Media library named https.
Ive tried to delete that mediafile and remove the https:// reference and save again. That does not work.
If I choose Generate and store thumbnail locally it works. But I’d like to avoid having local thumbnails if possible as I often get those temporary “Thumbnail will be created soon” images in my media library that will (of course, it’s a local static image) not automatically be replaced.

    Adding a link
When adding a new link or editing an existing, after save the field to the local image path gets filled with “https://”

    Result
The broken link with an IMG source for just https:// vs a previously added link with an older version of the plugin that looks correct.

To me it seems the plugin is not automatically generating the correct URL for the Image field to use the Robothumb thumbnail URL.
