    Hi,

The robots meta noindex setting doesn’t appear to be working for Home page paginated posts that use index.php.

Under plugin “Robots Meta Settings,” I have “Apply noindex to every second or later archive page?” ticked, and for example.com/2023/ archive pages, etc., I do see that the metatag includes noindex.

But for paged Home posts, when using WordPress>Settings>Readings>Your homepage displays>Your homepage displays, I don’t get a noindex in the metatag on example.com/page/2, and on and on.

    Any ideas? Thanks

    Howdy!

There is a separate option for this feature on the homepage. You can find it at “SEO Settings > Homepage Settings > Robots > Homepage Pagination Robots Settings.”

I thought I added a disclaimer for the option (“This option does not affect the homepage; it uses a different one.”), but I recalled that incorrectly: I only added that for “Title > Additions > Site Title Location.” I’ll add it to the Robot Meta Settings in the next update. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Let me know if this helps ?? Cheers!
