    Hello,

I have Yoast installed on audion.com and the SEO-company for this site is asking me if I can place 1 robots.txt in the root of the site instaid of a robots.txt for every language. I have WMPL installed so thats the reason there are multiple languages.

    Is this possible?

    Hi Jeen,

The robots.txt file should always be in the root domain. If you add it in subdirectories (corresponding to each language), those robots.txt files will get ignored by the search engines.

You can create/edit the robots.txt file using Yoast SEO by following this guide.
