• Alright, I’m looking for something very specific, and I’ve been searching this site, Google, and whatever else I can find. I’ve Activated and De-Activated countless plugins and still haven’t found what I’m looking for. My last resort is this post, hoping someone knows of an RSS Feed Aggregator that will do what I need.

For my company’s website I want to pull all of the feeds from all of our memberss personal wordpress blogs.

I want them to show up on the same page, and to be sorted by whichever one is most recent.

I want to be able to format each one of these with a different CSS CLASS so that each person’s contribution is formatted differently. So, to illustrate, on the page, it COULD look something like this:

    * FRED’S EXCERPT or SUMMARY (formatted with a red background)
    * JARED’S EXCERPT or SUMMARY (formatted with a blue background)
    * EDDIE’S EXCERPT or SUMMARY (formatted with a purple background)
    * EDDIE’S EXCERPT or SUMMARY (formatted with a purple background)
    * FRED’S EXCERPT or SUMMARY (formatted with a red background)

So in this list of 5 feeds pulled, it orders them by the date they were written, regardless of WHO wrote them.

I do NOT want to pull the whole post – as that is unnecessary. If someone CLICKS the link, then they can see the full post, which I’d like to be on our page, not go to the original source page.

What I want it to pull is the EXCERPT or SUMMARY, so that I can limit and control the formatting easier.

If this plugin had the ability to format that on my end, say ‘Only pull the first 135 characters and add an elipses (…)’ that would be even better.

Anyone know anything that can do this? I’ve tried KQF, which seemed like it had potential, but it would never actually add a feed to it. I tried FeedWordPress – but that didn’t seem to do it (though I may have overlooked it), as well as wp-o-matic and rss-import.

    All to no avail.
