    Hello,

I am testing out for free (during one month) Rocket.net server on a temp domain name. Which give you as well full-page cache + img optimization, etc.

Notice though that we don’t have much control as they said everything is already customized the best way possible.

With your plugin, If remembered well might be more options and with yours it seems you can actually send the full-page back to Cloudflare once you flush the cache, so you don’t need to wait for someone to load a page to have it cache by cloudflare, etc.

Wondering if there is a way to combine your plugin, with they server which work with cloudflare entreprise?

    So, my question is:

    1. Can I benefit from your plugin working on my WP hosted on their servers?
    If, yes how?
    2. What do you think about rocket.net?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

    Marco

    Hi @adskiller,
I have just now checked the rocket.net website and as per their website, they use Cloudflare Enterprise for their clients. This plugin is not compatible with Cloudflare Enterprise enforced at a global level.

Cloudflare enterprise accounts work in a totally different way and it is merely impossible for me to explain that in simple terms. Generally in these kinds of CF enterprise stations, the host adds your hostname in their CF entp account and even if you have a CF free account, you have to point your root domain to a CNAME record that they will provide. So, basically, you have no control over any Cloudflare settings whatsoever and have to stick with what they are doing for you.

On the other hand, if you buy enterprise for a domain in your own CF account to which you have full access along with API, that can be used with this plugin. It’s really complicated when it comes to CF enterprise as it can be used in so many different ways.

    Hello,

Oh, you didn’t know them? They know you^^.

    Thanks for your answer.

You are right about the CNAME. They told me I could actually use my free Cloudflare account and point it to their CNAME and still have the Enterprise features they have, so I thought I maybe I could actually use your plugin with they’re hosting/Cloudflare Enterprise installation.

But I guess it a NO.

I can really afford the Entreprise for now. They offer the hosting and Entreprise feature for $30/month, so it’s a pretty good deal, I guess…

Anyway thank you for your help.

    The best regards,

    Marco

    Hi @adskiller,

Oh, you didn’t know them? They know you^^.

    – No I didn’t know them and I’m flattered to know they know me. ??

You are right about the CNAME. They told me I could actually use my free Cloudflare account and point it to their CNAME and still have the Enterprise features they have, so I thought I maybe I could actually use your plugin with they’re hosting/Cloudflare Enterprise installation.

    – No you can’t as I explained before. Your CF Free account will only be a vessel for DNS. You will only use your CF Free for managing DNS, nothing else. Everything else is managed in the enterprise account.

I can really afford the Enterprise for now. They offer the hosting and Enterprise feature for $30/month, so it’s a pretty good deal, I guess…

    – Yah depends on what CF features they are giving and if there are any strings attached to them. Cause do know that though in CF Pro & Business account CF provides unlimited bandwidth be it for CDN caching or image optimization, that is not the case for ENterprise. For Enterprise account there is limited bandwidth, for Rocket.net don’t have unlimited bandwidth, to begin with, so they must be having some strings attached somewhere.

Most importantly I personally won’t take the deal as I won’t have any access to the CF settings and can’t fine-tune it according to my website exactly how I want it to be. I won’t have any CF analytics & cache analytics pages to see what’s going on. I basically won’t have any info and fine-tune control over my CF account settings. But that’s me, maybe you don’t care about these. Everyone is different.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your feedback.

Ain’t developing a simple website (1000 products, articles, features, etc) so indeed I think it will be best to have a grip of on the configuration and be able to tune things if need it.

I am on a litespeed server so what do you think about litespeed cache, combine with your plugin?

    Stable wedding?

If not, what would be the perfect combo for you as an expert?

Your CF cache plugin + optimization plugin + img optimization (if the optimization plugin doesn’t provide it already) + server?

Thanks again and sorry to bother you with all those questions.

    Best regards,

    Marco

You can either use the light speed cache (in that case make sure the fallback cache is turned off in this plugin) or you can use this plugin with fallback cache with autoptimize for CSS/JS optimization and shortpixel or Cloudflare pro or imagekit for image optimization.
