Role statut draft and background jobs

    Hello there,

    We have 2 small issues :

    – How can we deal with background jobs ? Do we have to install wp-cron or something like that ?

    – We have seen some user with status draft has been synchronized.
    We can select the right user_role but not the status ? Why draft are synchronized ?

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    “WP-Cron” is part of your WordPress site, so you do not need to install anything.

    Can you please let us know what you mean by a draft user? Are you using any 3rd party plugin to add this feature? Our plugin will only use the default WordPress functions and would not be able to understand any user related feature added by a 3rd party plugin.

    Ok, so everytime Im calling wp-cron.php background job are running , right ?

    About draft user. We set mailchimp user sync to sync role : “agent” (its custom post type). but its look like agent draft statut are also synchronized ?

    Only if there is a task scheduled it will run when you hit wp-cron.php

    You can use a plugin like Advanced Cron Manager to look into your cron queue.

    As far as I know WordPress doesn’t have a feature to save a user as Draft so I assume that is something custom that was build for you? I’m afraid our plugin can’t support that.

    By the way, in our case… Roles are link to Custom Post Type which is in draft. We gonna do some development/
