I cannot assign the CRM Manager and CRM Agent role.

The CRM Manager and CRM Agent roles are unavailable for selection, but the Admin user was automatically given all of those roles.

There are checkboxes on the Admin User Profile Page for changing the WP ERP CRM Manager and CRM Agent, but changing their value has no impact.

As the Admin, I am trying to assign one of those roles to somebody else, and I can’t.

    Thanks.

  • Hello @khlondon

I’m not sure what did you mean by changing value has no impact. If you allow a user as the CRM Manager, he/she will get all the CRM access. Same for the HR and Accounting.

    What else happening?

CRM Manager and CRM Agent are not in the list of selectable roles on the User edit screen, but Accounting Manager and HR Manager are in the list.

In looking for a reason why CRM Manager and CRM Agent were not in the list, I found the checkbox for CRM Manager Role section on the User edit screen (there are no checkboxes for Accounting Manager or HR Manager). After checking/unchecking it, CRM Manager and CRM Agent are still not in the list of selectable roles after saving the changes (after trying it again, it did add the roles displayed on the User list screen, but still not available in the User edit selectable roles list).

    Is this the intended behaviour?

    Thanks.

    Hi @khlondon ,
Just FYI, did you activate the CRM Module of WPERP from WPERP -> Modules section(https://prntscr.com/nm5lwf)?
Remember, if you don’t enable/checked & Save Settings “CR Management” then “CRM Manager” and “CRM Agent” role will not appear on the “Users profile -> under WPERP tab (https://prntscr.com/nm5owo).
So first make sure you activate the all 3 modules or individual CRM module for WPERP then it will appear on the user profile.
I hope these tricks will fix your issue.
    Thanks ??

Thanks for checking – it was/is enabled, I have been able to use it. It is just editing User roles that is an issue.

    Hello @khlondon

No, this is not intended or default ERP behavior anyway. There might something else happening on your site. Do you use any user role editor plugins or edited the user roles somehow?

If you have not made any customization but yet the default ERP behaving like that, then please feel free to contact our support center.

Also, you can go through a conflict test on your site, if it helps.

    Thanks

I do not use any role editors, have not implemented any role customization, and believe the only installed plugin that adds roles is WooCommerce.

With all plugins deactivated and customization removed from functions.php the issue persists.

    Thanks.

    Okay @khlondon

Please get in touch with our support center, we’ll have a look on it ??

    Thanks
