Roles missing in moving wp_users in phpmyadmin

I’m creating a new site on a dev sub-domain and I moved the Users from the main domain to this installation but none of the roles are there, which in my case included Subscribers and Wholesale Customers. Nor the names of the customers so I don’t know how that affects the login or convenience of the Wholesale customers?

Can anyone tell me what I missed in the export/import, when I look at the wp_users table in php myadmin I don’t even see roles.
