I have a menu with 6 main headings (which correspond to campuses) and multiple subheadings under each (which correspond to classes). I have dozens of roles because my users need to see one main heading (a campus) and then select subheadings (based on classrooms). Everything was working fine until I got to the sixth menu. I select Admin and Editor roles on each, I click save menu, and when I go back all of the Admin roles have be unchecked. Is there a limit to the number of Roles that can be assigned within a menu structure? Help!

@rahbuhkeh – There are no limits in the plugin at all. That said is this something that happened once, or have you been able to reproduce it multiple times?

I haven’t heard this issue thus far but this plugin only has a 1000 installs so its possible there are flaws.

If we can work out why it happens or how to reproduce it I will fix it. If you haven’t already first try to recreate the issue, if it happens again we need to first eliminate other plugins as issues if possible by disabling them. Generally you can skip plugins you know don’t do anything in the area your having an issue with (nav menu editor).

Sorry for the delay in responding. This is on a development site running on MAMP in Windows 10. I was trying out a few other plugins for different functionality at the time and had installed and uninstall a couple, but hadn’t really refreshed the web server or database. Not sure if installing/uninstalling a few plugins caused the issue. When I got past a certain number of roles, if I checked another role and saved my changes, it would uncheck previously selected roles.

I uninstalled the plugin rebooted everything (including the Win 10 computer), and reinstalled. Seems to be working fine now. If it acts up again, I’ll note any changes I made beforehand.

    Thanks for your help!
