• Hi everybody! I just switched over to Sixteen, and rather like it. Except…

I often write Magic: the Gathering articles. Those articles are full of references to cards, and I don’t know which cards people know and don’t know off the top of their heads. The common method of dealing with this is to include a rollover image, so that when the mouse hovers over a link to the card, an image of the card pops up. That way, people don’t need to be redirected to another site to look at the card. Very tidy.

I’ve been using the WP MtG-Helper plugin to do the heavy code lifting for me. But when I switched to Sixteen, I noticed it didn’t work. So, I hunted down another plugin… this time ‘Magic the Gathering Card Tooltips’, but found that didn’t work, either. But I did figure out why in the process. My pop up images were appearing shaded in the background, behind the already ‘popped out’ body of the article. Hmpf. (for reference, here’s one of my pages at https://wp.me/p2S61P-Gd . Like many of my articles, it’s full of links to cards that ‘don’t work’.

I like Sixteen, but I need those pop-ups. Does anybody know what I can do about this?
