rotating ad widget conflicts with slider

I have added an image using a text widget to the subsidiary widget area. But I would like this to be a rotating sponsored ad. Is this possible?
When I have tried it in the past there is a conflict with the sticky post flexslider.You can see this at https://livingwellwithepilepsy.com
