rotating column headers?

Hi
Great plugin!
Is it possible to rotate the column titles (first row of table) 90 degrees? Only I fdon’t have enough space to fit them in.
I just tried (via debugger) to modify css of the <th> elements like this:

writing-mode: vertical-rl !important; 
text-orientation: sideways !important;

…but with no effect…

(I also find that the table is wider than the space allocated to it in the theme – wider than the tablepress wrapper – it overlaps with the right sidebar)
