Rotating tweets stopped updating

  • Hi,
    I’ve got rotating tweets installed on my personal website, pulling from my personal twitter.
    It’s great!
    Except my tweets stopped updating about two weeks ago.
    I’ve turned SSL off but that made no difference (so I’ve turned it back on)
    I’ve looked at my API settings but I don’t know what to check them against and anyway I haven’t altered them.
    I’ve checked with twitter that my website still allows access and it does. I tried revoking and re-allowing but that did no good.
    I’m not technical so I don’t know what it means to look in my HTML.
    I’d be very grateful for some help.

    Hi Rachel,

    Looking in your HTML, normally means right-clicking on the page and looking at ‘View Source’ or something similar.

    When you go to the Rotating Tweets settings page, is there an error message of any kind?

    Is the single tweet still rotating? Or is the tweet frozen on the page? If it’s the latter, have you installed any new plug-ins or changed the template recently?

    If you let me know the right page to look at, I’d be happy to take a quick look and see if I can see anything wrong.
