    Hi there!

I’ve been using Easy Rotator for a few weeks now, and it has worked beautifully for me, however, I recently changed my blog’s theme and it’s no longer working. The images are not showing up on the slider when it is published.

Here is a link to an example of said issue: https://everybliss.com/archives/4555.

I’ve tried adding the code to my css stylesheet for R-L blogs, I tried deactivating reactivating the plugin, and I’ve attempted to delete and reinsert the rotator shortcode, but still no luck.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I really adore the plugin and I would hate to have to let it go :/

    Warm regards,
    Maliha

    Hi Maliha,

Thank for using EasyRotator. I’m seeing the following error when I check the JavaScript Console (View > Developer > JavaScript Console) in Google Chrome while on your page: https://i.imgur.com/Dik8DJH.jpg . This error, which is coming from the Pinterest script, is halting all further execution of JavaScript in the page. This means that the rotator is never allowed to initialize.

Most likely, there’s some other script in your page that’s breaking something, which in turn prevents the Pinterest script from initializing properly. In other words, I doubt the actual source of the problem to be the Pinterest script. I recommend, though, that you try disabling it temporarily to see if the error is still shown

    Sincerely,

    Hi Drew!

I did as you suggested and even removed some of the unnecessary plugins that I didn’t want on my page, and the problem still persists. Is it possible to pinpoint the exact script causing me problems?

    Warm regards,
    Maliha

    Hi Maliha,

I checked again, and another (perhaps root) issue is the inclusion of the LazyLoad jQuery plugin in the theme:

    <script type='text/javascript' src='https://everybliss.com/wp-content/themes/suburbia/js/jquery.lazyload.mini.js?ver=3.5.1'></script>

That line, which might originate from header.php or functions.php, causes rotators to not appear properly. If you have trouble identifying where to remove this, please open a support ticket and send temporary WordPress dashboard login credentials.

    Sincerely,
    Drew O’Neill

    Hi Drew!

Genius! I pinpointed the LazyLoad code on the header php and cleaned it up, and now the rotators are working beautifully! I CANNOT thank you enough! ?? Thank you so much!

Please keep up the fabulous work!

    Warm regards,
    Maliha
