Round robin + semi finales

    I have a soccer tournament with 8 teams.

    All teams play against each other for one round. After the round is finished, then the top 4 play the semi-finals and the final.
    1st vs. 4th
    2nd vs. 3rd
    And the winner of each match play the final.

    Also, the bottom 4 teams play the following matches.

    5th vs. 8th
    6th vs. 7th
    And the winner of each match play each other.

    My questions are:

    Should I create a sub-tournament for these matches?

    What do I do in order to continue counting goals for top scorer tables (and other player stats) if I create a sub-tournament?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    If you have the Pro version you can do this with the tournament feature

    Otherwise you’ll need to create a competition for each of your brackets in your competition and manually assign each team to each bracket.

    I don’t have the Pro version yet.

    If I purchase it today, will I be able to do it even though I already started the tournament?

    There is already data and statistics.

    Thanks for your reply!

    You’ll need to re-enter your matches data unfortunately. The overall settings will be there (including the events) but it isn’t easy to move a regular competition match to a tournament match.
