    Hello Tobias,

The plugin keeps yielding new and innovative ways of arranging data. This is very fun to be able to attempt when DataTables is out of ones skill set. Thank You cannot be said enough.

The data set I’m working with is public but it is also copyright except in short snippets. In attempt to address this the table has been pre-sorted, randomized and an Inverted Filter has been activated. These extensions are all working well. (Is there a way to search only 1 of 4 columns but show all of them?)

As the hidden feature is JS based this is only a partial workaround. Therefore, the Row filtering and GET parameter extensions have been activated in attempts to further control the data from the server side. Except neither the Row Filter or the GET parameter are working.

ie: On a page the shortcode says [table id=1 filter=”myfilterword” /]. This isn’t returning a filtered result, only the full table.

On a local installation I can get the Row Filter to work but not the GET parameter:

The shortcode is changed from [table id=1] to [table_filter id=1] and the page displays the the shortcode as text?

I have searched the forums and fear I may be missing something with the GET parameter.

As for why the local works for row filtering and the server does not is unknown; the plugins are activated and comparable between the two. But if it can get working in one installation there is a good chance I’ll be able to get it working in the other.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This project is being built for fun and I’d love to get it working for other folks can explore the data.

    Kind Regards,
    Callard

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

It sounds strange that the Extensions are not worked as expected… If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please get in touch by email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

Oh, I feel so silly for wasting your time on that. My sincere apology. I must have read row order as row filter. The row filter is active now, it and the GET function works flawlessly (of course).
