RSS acting weird

Are you running any premium add-ons along with the core? If so, please get in touch with us through our website for further support since this forum prohibits discussions on premium add-ons.

Otherwise, please review the settings for the limits, both on the Edit Feed Source page and globally at RSS Aggregator > Settings.

I had a look at the feed and can see there are a few items several years old. When the set limit of imported feed items is reached, older items are deleted to make way for newer ones. Also, if you have an age limit set, items will be deleted to comply with that age limit.

I’ve changed limit to 0 in both feed and Wprss settings page and still it generates a weird RSS ignoring the original order of post.

@kokojambo Could you please share the RSS feed URLs you’re setting up as sources at RSS Aggregator > Feed Sources, if that is not a problem?

@kokojambo Thanks for the clarification.

Under RSS Aggregator > Settings > General, set the Import order to ‘Original feed order’.

Next, you will need to re-import the feed from RSS Aggregator > Feed Sources by clicking Delete items and Fetch against the feed. Please note that re-importing a feed will bring in only the latest items currently provided by the feed. Older items previously saved on your site will be deleted permanently.
