Thanks for trying podcast player on your website.

As its name suggest, the free plugin is specifically designed for podcasts having a valid feed URL. It’s only purpose is to easily add/play your existing podcast to your website (It is not for playing single mp3 audio). However, podcast player pro can play single audio files. For me it’s a podcast player, why do I need a feed.

I really want to help you on that, but I am sorry that the free plugin is not right plugin for playing just mp3.

Just for the information,
1. Every podcast needs a feed URL to be distributed on platforms like itunes, spotify or any other similar platform. So a feed is a must for a valid podcast. Refer, https://rss.com/blog/how-to-create-an-rss-feed-for-a-podcast/

2. If you plan to start a podcast, it is not a good idea to host mp3 files on your website. As your listeners grow, it will create huge load on your server. If your audio is a podcast, anchor.fm (or something similar) is a good free choice.
