    Since VSEL supports Apple .ics feeds, would it be possible to extend that to RSS feeds as well? Then the events could be displayed on external sites using an RSS block, or fed into something like a Mailchimp RSS campaign.

    About the order of the items in this feed.. What’s the best order for RSS, you think? From the first upcoming event to future events? So similar to the [vsel] shortcode? So no past events?

    I use the VSEL sidebar widget and would love to replicate similar output via RSS. Exactly what you’ve outlined would accomplish that!

    I try to make some time for it this weekend. Can use the structure from the iCal feed for it, so don’t have to start from zero.

    Check the sidebar widget of my test site. I’ve used the default RSS widget. Do you want something like this?

    Great!
    The default RSS widget has its limitations (such as desc order). Are you gonna use a certain plugin or service for your RSS feed? Because I would like to do some testing with that as well.

    Probably Mailchimp, though RSS is a legacy feature available only to users who are already using it. Other email service providers (ESPs) like ActiveCampaign offer active support for RSS.

    Hi,

    If you’re gonna use ActiveCampaign, please try the RSS feature with a VSEL feed. I would like to know whether it works or not.

    I will update plugin this week.
    Feed URL will be your-domain/?feed=vsel-rss-feed
    So it’s a different slug as mentioned in my previous reply.
