• Even with no plugins activated, the YouTube code looks mighty odd in my RSS feed and the videos won’t show up on RSS feed readers, Feedbuner or Facebook Instant Articles.

The link is placed with the post simply as the standard YouTube link to the video, no embed code and of course WordPress does the rest. The RSS feed version though includes all of this code and it doesn’t seem to work correctly…

    Example…

    <iframe data-ep-a="pulse" id="_ytid_45487" width="550" height="309" data-ep-src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/08_pRYc8r_0?enablejsapi=1&origin=https://www.jameswoodcock.co.uk&autoplay=0&cc_load_policy=0&iv_load_policy=1&loop=0&modestbranding=1&rel=0&showinfo=1&playsinline=0&autohide=2&theme=dark&color=red&wmode=opaque&vq=&controls=2&" frameborder="0" class="__youtube_prefs__" title="7th Guest: The Series (Teaser Trailer)" allowfullscreen ></iframe><span itemprop="video" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/VideoObject"><meta itemprop="embedURL" content="https://www.youtube.com/embed/08_pRYc8r_0"><meta itemprop="name" content="7th Guest: The Series (Teaser Trailer)"><meta itemprop="description" content="This is the Teaser Trailer for the upcoming Darkstone Entertainment / Trilobite Games creation 7th Guest: The Series. Based on the cult Video Game Series. https://7thguest.com"><meta itemprop="thumbnailUrl" content="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/08_pRYc8r_0/0.jpg"><meta itemprop="duration" content="PT6M25S"><meta itemprop="uploadDate" content="2015-11-10T22:27:01.000Z"></span>

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is causing quite a few problems.

    Or….

Is there a simple plugin just to simplify RSS output?

Really stuck at the moment ??

    Good news and bad news…

    Adding

    [embed][/embed]

has solved the issue for the RSS…

However, how can I add the embed tags to all my videos :/ I could probably use a search and replace to change https://www.youtube to [embed]https://www.youtube but how can I attach it to the end of a link ??

So close now… although don’t fancy locating 295 videos on the site.
