RSS Feed doesn’t work with “WWW.”

I use “mywebsite.com/feed” but for some reason, whenever I add “www.” to “mywebsite.com/feed” it doesn’t want to work, AT ALL.
It tells me it’s an invalid feed.
Is this how it’s supposed to work?
