RSS feed driving me crazy

Hi,

I’ve been struggeling with those feeds for ages now and am getting sick of it.
It might just be me but the complete rss feed stuff seems not suited for me.
I got a RSS driven campaign in mailchimp setup and it magically adds an url to my website beneath every content item.

other problems are:
– double images at the start of each item (I use featured image plugin to make featured image appear in mailchimp rss campaign)
– the feed displays the full content, I dont want that, I want it to display a certain amount of characters which I can define
– at the bottom of EVERY rss item it shows “Military Scale Modelling! – MSM is all about armor, aircraft and ship scale modelling in different scales” linked to my website, which is totally useless and confusing.

Well, thats it for now, I would love to have this dealt with… so any help would be really greatly appreciated.
