    Hello,

    is it possible to show itunes etc. only an excerpt of the shownotes? Because I am publishing a summary (of the podcast episode) on my website and I don′t want that Google will find duplicate content (on apples website for example).

    Do you have an idea or a solution?

    Hi there. No there currently isn’t the option to have a separate Description field for your podcast RSS feed using SSP than what is in the post contents. This is something we’re looking at adding here shortly and if you’d like please upvote this feature at feedback.castos.com so it can be prioritized in our development queue.

    Thanks for the information. I have told a few more podcasters for upvoting because they do need the feature as well.
