RSS Feed error

    I have recently migrated my website from wp.com to wp.org ….. after installing the SSP plug in and filling in all the information it tells me under Podcast Settings > Publishing that my complete feed is https://coolcanadianhistory.com/feed/podcast yet when I try to validate that feed I receive error messages. At the same time, in apple podcast connect I have a completely different feed which is being used by iTunes…I can actually submit episodes from my wp.org site to the podcast but there are a number of errors with it (including blurry icon, excerpts don’t show up, wrong title for podcast) and I wonder if this is all part of a bigger issue of the wrong feed or an incorrect feed. Any help?

    I had the same issue. Make sure that you are making your podcasts in the Podcast Tab and you are Uploading the Files using the Default Uploader in the SSP section or Uploaded and Formulated URL (I have to do this).
    Also make sure that your Episode (the mp3 section) is mapped to the Proper File for the MP3 file.

    Doing some debugging and attempting to download an MP3 I took a look at the Output and I got the following:

    What is your settings for Podcast> Settings> General> “Podcast post types”

    In Podcast>Settings>General>Podcast Post types I have only clicked “posts”

    Should i have also clicked on other options?

    My problem is I’m very noob at all this, so am not sure beyond what’s in front of me on my screen how to fix the issues at hand.

    This is a feed that is doing what it should (this is one of my client):

    So in conclusion the Issue is you made all of yours Episodes as posts.
    You need to post your Podcasts using the PODCAST Tab below Posts (Note you cannot post from Mobile unless you login via Web)

    Use this link to goto the Page you need to post a Podcast:
    https://coolcanadianhistory.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=podcast

    You need to uncheck Post in the Podcast > Settings > General > Podcast Post types.
