• When I create blog posts, they have paragraph breaks which can be seen on the front end and in the Code Editor. But the RSS Feed does not show paragraph breaks for all but one of my posts (for the last 7 weeks).

For example, look at “Lists – When to Hold On to God.” There are paragraph breaks on the front end, but not in RSS. Front end: https://lighthousebiblestudies.com/lists-when-to-hold-on-to-god/

The most recent post as of tonight, “Definitions & Insights: ‘Abide in Me.'” shows paragraph breaks on the front end and in RSS, but not in the Mailchimp newsletter.

I am using the Ashe Pro theme (and I’m in communication with them), and I deactivated Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More (plugin) and 5 other plugins.

Why are these paragraph tags being removed once it goes into RSS? Thank you.

The issue has either been resolved since you posted, or it’s external to WP. When I follow your feed link with my browser, all the <p> tags are still in place. If they are missing in your feed reader or mailchimp, they are being stripped out after WP outputs feed content, i.e. stripped out by those services.

Thank you for taking the time to look. My most recent post was a quote so it was very short. Please look farther back, like at the post called “Insights – Abide in Me.” Each of those lines is its own paragraph, and there are no paragraph breaks. Thank you.

With a browser requesting your feed, I get in part:

    <p>“Abide in Me.” (John 15:4 NKJV)</p>

<p>“Abide” – “to remain, not to depart, to remain as one, not to become another or different.”1</p>

    <div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

    <p>Application:</p>

    <p>Maintain a close one-to one fellowship with Me.</p>
    etc....

There is actually even more white space between paragraphs, I believe because Linux (my O/S) handles line breaks differently than Win boxen. I’ve corrected accordingly. Extra white space doesn’t do anything for HTML display anyway. All the p tags being still in place is the point. WP output appears to be fine.
