    Hello,

Mailchimp is giving me an RSS feed error after installing this plugin. I deactivated, but I’m still seeing this error at Feedvalidator.org:

This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.

line 33, column 0: Use of unknown namespace: com-wordpress:feed-additions:1 (11 occurrences) [help]

Please advise on how to repair my feed.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

If you’ve deactivated the plugin, and it’s still giving you the warning, it’s not from our plugin. That namespace issue is just an unknown namespace warning, it’s harmless.

Our plugin should also not cause any validation errors, so I’d want to troubleshoot the specific Mailchimp RSS Feed Error, can you paste that in here after activating our plugin?

Leave the plugin activated, and try the validation again, let me know if there are any feed errors, or if you see the “feed is valid” message.

Same thing here: RSS Feed Error. Deactivating the plugin immediately resolved the issue. It appears that something broke in the latest update to Version 1.5.6 on WP 5.5.1.

Hi @lllusion is it the same warning as above?:

This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.

line 33, column 0: Use of unknown namespace: com-wordpress:feed-additions:1 (11 occurrences) [help]

Please create your own thread with the specifics of your error, as that warning above can be ignored, and was not generated by our plugin, it was created by WordPress.com.

My error was that the RSS feed was invalid. I don’t remember there being a line number. But *immediately* after disabling Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & Other Email the error disappeared and MailChimp sent the awaiting email-campaign.

@lllusion Strange, the latest version of our plugin should not generate any errors on it’s own… it may be double namespace errors or other issues with conflicting plugins. Deactivating one of the conflicting plugins would resolve it, which isn’t resolving the root cause.

Create a new thread with the specific error if you’d like help resolving it.
