RSS feed issue

  • In the past if i went to my /feed page a list of my blog posts would be displayed. I could then submit them to rrs feed sites etc etc.

    Currently when i go to look at my feeds the page no longer displays and i get a prompt to open at text file instead

    Please assist if anyone knows how to fix this issue

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Your sitemap shows several blog posts from mid 2019 so I imagine your settings for the number of blog posts are set at one.

    Those settings can be found at Dashboard –> Settings –> Reading under the item called Syndication feeds show the most recent… I usually set mine to 30.

    Yes i put all the old posts to draft as i need to rewrite them. This is when i noticed how there is no page just a text editor
