    Hi all,

I’ve looked and looked to try and solve this issue on my own, but no luck. So, I was hoping someone could help me out.

People have reported having issues setting up a RSS feed for to my WordPress blog in various rss readers. After some research, I figured out that my RSS feed is my website URL followed by “/?feed=rss”. When I give out this url out (which I have now provided on my home page), users can get my feed to work by manually inputting that address into their reader (as opposed to getting things like a dormant error). However, I noticed that part of the initial problem seems to be that my site lists my comment feed correctly, but not my main post feed. For, example, if you view my page source in a browser, the listed feed href link is incorrect (it just lists my homepage url). However, my comments feed href link is listed correctly, which is probably why my viewers are finding my comments feed right away in rss readers, but get errors for my posts feed. Does this make sense? Any suggestions on how to correct this??

Thank you for your time and help in advance.

    Peace,
    RC

You can install the Health Check plugin, and use the Troubleshooting mode to disable plugins and theme for your user only. Then look at the generated link to see if it’s correct.

Thank you, Joy. Not sure exactly how that fixed the issue, but it did. After running Health Check it reported that everything was good and no issues reported. Ran troubleshooting mode and suddenly the rss feed shows up properly. Turned off troubleshooting mode and it is still showing up just fine now. Again, no clue what caused the issue/conflict, or how it got resolved…but it did. Still running the same plug-ins.

    Anyway, thank you!

    Peace,
    RC
