    Hello,

I’ve recently set up the latest version of WP with the Tarski 1.1 theme. There are links on all pages to subscribe to my RSS feed, but they all link to https://nbcl.pawebhosting.net/newblog/feed/, which doesn’t exist – the feed resides in https://nbcl.pawebhosting.net/newblog/.

Is there a way that I can either tell WordPress to generate the feeds in a subdirectory, or get these links to point at the right place? I’ve trawled through what appears to be every bit of code I can get at and can’t find it!

    Cheers

    Jonny

  • Your theme was built with the assumption that you’d have permalinks set to something besides the default. In other words, if you change your permalinks, that rss link will magically start working.

Or, just edit the theme to use something like:
<a href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>">Entries (RSS)</a> so that it adopts the link to fit your site and how you’re using permalinks.

Or (you like options, right?) just hardwire the theme to this url: https://nbcl.pawebhosting.net/newblog/?feed=rss2

Sorry to bump an old thread, but for info it was the permalink structure as HandySolo says. Many thanks.
