• Hello,
I am having my rss feed pulled through my email marketing company to broadcast my blog posts, but they are not displaying correctly. There are two separate issues.
    1. On my blog, the images are centered aligned, but when pulled they are left aligned.
    2. When I use custom HTML (from a 3rd party site) to display lists/buttons/pictures, they are not being pulled through.
How do I fix this? I am a novice, so if you can explain it in basic terms, I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thank you,
    Melissa

  • Try looking at your RSS feed through a feed reader. Your website’s feed looks just fine through my Slick RSS feed reader in my Chrome browser but the images really are left-justified.

But what I want you to see is what they look like in your outgoing RSS feed… if they don’t look like that fairly closely in the emails then the problem lies with the email system’s interpretation of the rendered post.

If they look the same then it may be the RSS feed itself.

There are some tutorials about customizing the RSS style but what I saw in my reader would have been fine in an email also.

So, I’d have a talk with the email vendor to see if they have any recommendations.

Thank you for the reply. I did run it through a feed reader, and you are correct. The 3rd party html code is coming through fine, so I will reach out to the email vendor regarding that.

The left justification for the images is occurring both ways. They are on the left when I run them through the reader and in the email broadcast.

I spoke with my email vendor Prior to my first post and they told me that it is the way my rss is set up and to reach out to WordPress. After doing your test, it appears that the third Party html problem does appear to be on their side, but the left justification doesn’t.

Can you point me in the right direction to fix the justification?

    Thank you
