I have a WordPress installation for my main domain and for one of my sub domains. The RSS feed for my main domain (congdons.net) works perfectly, but I am not getting to any sort of feed for my sub domain (jason.congdons.net) LINK I’ve looked everywhere and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Thanks in advance for any help.

  • You don’t have mod_rewrite module enabled. Please ask your host to enable it. Or you can use default permalinks, if your host does not support mod_rewrite.

And would the default permalink be in the form of https://jason.congdons.net/?feed=rss2 or something of the like? Because that doesn’t work either.

Yes, that should be the feed URL, but the problem is that none of your permalinks work (check your first post’s link).

First, go to Settings/Permalinks in your Dashboard and set it to the Default structure.

Now, your permalinks (and feed) should work.

Next, you should contact your hosting provider and ask if mod_rewrite is installed and enabled on your server.

Nice… the permalink setting was on month and name, once switching it to default, I can pull a feed.

I am my own host, and just setup this Ubuntu server a couple of months ago… I’ll look into the mod_rewrite

Much appreciated for the help !!!!
