• I’ve been using Bloglet for my email subscription needs for almost two years. I switched to WordPress a while ago and have had sporadic problems where Bloglet gets an error when picking up my RSS feed. About a week ago I noticed I wasn’t getting emails and checked the Bloglet error message. It says “The underlying connection was closed: The server committed an HTTP protocol violation. “. I’ve been searching the web and can only find that it is a common WordPress RSS feed problem, but I can’t figure out a fix. Does anyone have any info on this? I have almost 200 subscribers who haven’t been getting anything.

I haven’t even upgraded my .net, but maybe Bloglet did. It’s strange.

I’m getting the same error trying to add my site, any ideas yet on why this happens?

    URL please…

I had the same problem. It’s a problem with “Last-Modified” http header sent in the header file I believe.
Search (grep) on the wordpress php files and look for “Last Modified” (note, no hyphen.) Once you find it, add the hyphen and you should be good to go. It should read like this:
    Last-Modified
Once I made that change, my Newsgator would finally read my own feeds.

I’ve been trying to find this, but I can’t see it anywhere… any hints?
