    Hello everyone.

Even after reading through the forums I couldn’t identify the problem I have with my RSS feed. It remains empty although I already published my first episode.

    Cast Feed Validator says:
    – Successfully completed XML parsing tests.
    – Found zero items with a valid enclosure tag. Cannot validate. Did not finish feed tests.

Also I’m unable to upload to Google Podcasts.

I COULD upload to Deezer and Amazon Podcasts but only because they obviously don’t require the feed to not be empty. The respective feeds remain empty as well.

As a background: I’m using the DIVI theme and I’m self hosting my podcast file, meaning I am using the DIVI audio player where I submit the direct link to the mp3 of my file (if that’s of any importance).

I’d be thankful for any idea on this topic as I’m starting to lose hope.

    Thank you

    Hello @chriskrauss,

Thank you for choosing the SSP, and hope I’ll be able to help you with the issue.
Could you please make sure that your episode:

    – Is published
    – Is public
    – Has the .mp3 file attached

Also, could you please provide a link to the episode itself?

    Best regards,
    Sergiy, development team.

    Hello Sergiy,

thank you very much for your reply.

    – the episode is published
    – the episode is public
    – I am using the audio player that comes with DIVI, so maybe that’s a problem. But of course, there I had to insert the URL to the mp3 which I self host at the moment. So it is “attached” but I am not sure if that’s the “attached” you are talking about. ??

And here is the link to the episode itself: https://irgendwozwischen.de/podcast/top-ebayer-gerne-wieder-irgendwozwischen-podcast-001/

Thanks for having a look at this

    Hey Sergiy,

    I got the problem fixed.

There obviously was a problem with attaching the mp3 file to the podcast episode itself (just like you assumed – so thank for this pointer). When editing the episode, I used relative paths instead of the full URL just as I do in the DIVI audio player.

    Stupid mistake on my behalf!

So thanks again and sorry for the fuss.

    Best,
    Chris

Great, I’m glad you’ve found the reason. Happy podcasting!

P.S. Hope you’ll enjoy our plugin, and share your experience with other people in the plugin review ??

    Best wishes,
    Sergiy.
