Thanks. That helps. Question: I don’t know how to code CSS. Here’s what the current default RSS feed looks like:

Here’s what I’d really like it to look like:

I can figure out a bit of HTML, but I can’t get there on CSS. This is the only change I need. Figured out how to use all the shortcode stuff. Very good and helpful.

    Thanks in advance.

that can be handled by taking template and customizing the html to work as you want….then using the template options tab, you can save it and use you custom template.

Thanks. Can you please expand on “by taking template”? I am not a coder. I looked at where you edit the RSS templates, and could not determine where / how to move the author or change the format of the date.

first choose a template you want to work with in the shortcode dropdown menu…then save that admin page…then go the template options panel and you’ll see your current template named. Put in your own name in the text box – hit save – then refresh that page and hit restore.

Now, you’ll have a new template in the dropdown menu on the shortcode page named as your template.

You would then use html to move the author to where you want. The date format is trickier but if you use the default template as your starting point, it gives information on the format of the date, which you can change by referencing this:

Sorry, I can’t be of more help here.
