Hello everyone – thanks for reading.

    My blog is at https://www.grayblog.co.uk

I have only just noticed an error which has clearly been on my blog since April (when I upgraded to the then-latest version of WordPress) – I spotted it just yesterday when I upgraded to 3.01.

The comments RSS feed is working normally. However, the main feed for posts is not working. When I try to access it through FeedReader or via Firefox (at https://www.grayblog.co.uk/feed/), I get a 403 Forbidden error. The text of the error is “You don’t have permission to access to this document on this server. Apache Server at grayblog.co.uk “

I tried disabling all plugins. I also tried switching to the TwentyTen theme. Neither fix solved the problem.

I’ve searched the forums and can not find a solution. Any ideas? I’m not entirely sure where to start looking. Is it a permissions problem or is there something wrong with my <head> (no jokes please!)?

    Thanks

    Graybo

This is now resolved. If you delete the folder “/feed” (or simply rename it to “/_feed” or something), then your feeds will become visible again.

I must confess that I’m not sure how or why this works, but I can say that it does.
