RSS Feeds into a page question…

  • I’m looking for an RSS feed plugin that will pull in an article(s) and display the entire article – making it almost look like it was created on my page, but it’s actually from where else.

    Take this page for example: Robb Report Fashion

    A normal RSS will just provide some links to those articles and when the user clicks, off they go to read. Other plugins will bring in some content (maybe 1-5 lines of text) and display it…perhaps a little teaser.

    I’d like the entire article – all text and pictures right on my page.

    Maybe RSS isn’t what I’m looking for to do this?

    What would you suggest?

  • RSS feeds come in two flavors – those with full articles and those with just a summary with a link to the full aritcle. You can only get what the site provides. (if just using straight RSS) There are other “scarfing” options, but that’s a whole different thing.

    wp-o-matic plugin might just do the trick…IF I can figure out if that plugin will let me shortcodes so I can put them on pages, and not posts…But thank you Doug – your comment about full articles sent me off on google…now at least I know what I’m searching for….
