RSS Feeds Not Working

@lumo44: it seems you’ve already fix it.

I don’t why, but they are working now.
what I have done is just to post some entry.

If it can help in some, is’s pleasure.

I discovered that my comments (RSS) feed was comming back with an error and would not work. After studying the comments above, I had the tools I needed to solve my problem!

1) I used the feed validator at https://feedvalidator.org to detect the error and several warnings.

2) The error was created by my own text in a comment where I discussed HTML entities. The text I typed to break my RSS comments feed looked like this:

“& gt;”

where only the “ampersand” symbol itself was typed – to avoid breaking this comment here I typed “&” in the error string above instead.

3) Because I created my own problem with invalid text, deactivating my plugins did not solve the problem.

4) The error reported by IE and Firefox were different. IE reported the most misleading error. Here is the error IE reported which had nothing to do with the cause or the fix – and lead me to beleave I had an error during my upgrade from WP 2.0.4 to WP 2.5.1:

5) If you start with the results from an RSS validation tool before making blind guessess, you too may be able to solve this type of problem too.

My RSS isn’t working either.

I’m not using “Beautiful Sunrise” and I don’t have any blank lines. I’m getting “Server returned HTTP Error 404: Not Found”

Hi, I am having problem with my RSS Feeds. The error message I get from

XML parsing error: <unknown>:69:32: mismatched tag

I tried all removing of the spaces betweens <?php and all and to no avail. I tried deactivating my plugins as well and adding > on feed-rss2.php.

Can someone assist.

I’m having a problem with my feeds as well, but my problem is it won’t let any images through, just the title. Does anyone know about this issue?

I re-download wordpress 2.5.1 and replace feed-rss2.php with the new one and my feed validated successfully. Yipee!

I don’t know whether the problem has to do with having WordPress in its own directory, with the index in the Web root but I’m using 2.7 and the link https://www.abengnews.com/feed/ gives a 404 error.

Do not do this as it is a very bad security flaw.

I validated my feed, and everything was perfect, but I was still having issues.

What I did was I went to FeedBurner.com and set up a feedburner feed of my feed, which worked perfectly.

Since I’ve updated my WP version to 2.7 my comments rss stop working. The posts rss is ok.

In IE7 the page show this message:
“Internet Explore cannot open the feed. The feed has errors.”
As in Firefox the error is simply my feed page showing completely empty.

As I put me feed link to analyse at Feed Validator the error shown was:

Then post a NEW post. Posts like this get very little attention. If you have a problem post it! Don’t strap hang on something 8 months old.

I notice most of these threads are 10 months old or more. My problem (a layman, I don’t know coding, use templates and WYSIWYG/Visual). Google notified me of a recent “move” after purchasing Feedburner. My original feeds – on the icons – seem to go somewhere legit. I cannot change the Feed Locations in WP or everything seems to completely get lost. Can someone visit our site and let me know what to do? I have used Feed Validator and it shows a “404” error.

Google’s email says the feed moved for me is:
https://feeds2feedburner.com/aboutetfs which is NOT the same as WP default settings.

I’ve found out if you have a directory called feed (silly me) in the root directory of your website (public_html). It will cause your feed not working.
Deleting it will simply allow the script to run normally again.
