RSS got Hijacked?

  • Hi All,
    I just noticed that in my RSS feed, there are some weird characters (Russian?). In my original post, I don’t have these. I’m currently using the feedburner replacement plugin… not sure if this is the problem. Even after I disabled the plugin, it still redirecting me to feedburner’s website.

  • You need to disable your Feedburner account to stop your feed from being redirected.

    Delete those spam comments so they don’t go out in your feed.

    But more importantly, check to see if you’ve been hacked. Check for other administrator accounts, and check the your site for other spam links in your footers.

    If so, you need to clean up and resinstall.
