RSS how to start

    Never used RSS but would like to start. Is it embedded in WordPress? If not what do I do to to get it started and where do I go to learn about it? Not sure which version I have, where do I look?

  • It is not “embedded” – it is built in.
    Wp produces excellent RSS feeds. And Atom feeds. And RSS2 feeds ??

    Google is a good place to start searching for RSS.

    The Codex, the online manual is also a good starting point (if you know how to use the search box)

    As for the not sure what I have type of nonsense… your first thing when learning a new tool should be to go throroughly, page by page, through all your admin panel; all the pages, subpanels etc.
    You may notice that on every page at the bottom it tells you what version is installed ??

    Istill do not know what WP version I have. The Theme I use is wp-andreas01-12. When I go to options general there is no RSS box. Do I need a plug in?
