Hi, I am trying to aggregate a bunch of feeds then output those into one feed from my wordpress site https://aggregator.hyperacuity.com/blog/ I can use to create an Alexa Flash Briefing skill. I successfully brought in the feeds using WP RSS Aggregator. When I try to add my site (either https://aggregator.hyperacuity.com/feed/ or https://aggregator.hyperacuity.com/blog/feed/ to flash briefing blueprint I get the errors

“Your RSS feed contains an item [https://aggregator.hyperacuity.com/?p=1] without content.
Your RSS feed only contains video content and cannot be used for Alexa skills. Please submit an RSS feed that contains audio content for devices that do not have a screen.”

I tried a feed validator, although it said that the feed was valid it had several recommendations for interoperability, but I am not sure how to make the changes or if this is really the problem.

  • I can see both feeds you mentioned are passing all validation checks on W3C Feed Validation Service.

Since the error message comes from your attempt at creating an Alexa Flash Briefing skill, it will be best for you to discuss this on the relevant forums. If the experts on those forums have any recommendations for us to include in the custom feed we generate, please let us know. We will record these recommendations and consider incorporating them in future releases.
